Starting in Spring 2018, SFHP will offer a brand new for credit course that is designed to help students learn to identify, understand, prevent, and manage stress as it occurs in everyday life. KNSFHP 1104 Stress Management for the College Student will be a 2-credit course that will meet twice a week for 55 minutes each day. One day will be lecture based, focusing on the cognitive approach to stress management. The other day will be a lab activity where students will experience yoga and how its practices produce stress reduction in the physical, psychological & spiritual domains.
There will be two sections of this course offer during our inaugural semester. Class #34243 will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:50pm-2:45pm. The other section, class #34244, will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm-7:25pm.
