Description:
The purpose of this course is to provide the student with beginning level of knowledge and skills in volleyball. As a result the student will improve his general physical fitness and skill performance. Principles, techniques, safe practices and strategies of volleyball will be taught throughout the course so that the student will be able to successfully participate in recreational volleyball as a lifelong activity.

- Serving and returning a serve
- Offensive strategies

What to expect:
- You will be actively engaged in playing the game
- You will be part of a team of players
- You will be assessed on the progress of your skills throughout the semester
- You will play in a class tournament
- You will have a written portion of your final exam
