Social Dance

Dancing is a great way to be active, healthy, and have some fun.  In Social Dance 1, even students with no experience and two left feet will be busting moves on the dance floor by the end of the semester.  You will learn, step by step, how to Tango, Cha Cha, and Waltz.  You will also learn how to do the Foxtrot, Merengue, and even Swing.

This class is a perfect opportunity for students to learn rhythm and timing, body control, and the cultural paradigms of each dance.  It is also a great way to learn how to interact with people of varied dance experience and personalities.  Before you know it, you’ll be ready to be on Dancing with the Stars!  Well…maybe after Social Dance 2.  But, the next time you are at a wedding or your significant other wants to go out dancing, you’ll be the talk of the town.
