Featured Course – ESKRIMA

Come and learn the traditional martial art of the Filipino culture; Eskrima.  You’ll train in the same methods the Filipino’s used to fight off Magellan and his army in the 1400’s, saving their island from an invasion.  You’ll learn both single and double stick techniques, along with offense, defense, and counter-strikes.  This is a fun class designed to get you moving, work your hand-eye coordination, and laugh while you learn.  No experience required.

KNSFHP 1169.11 – Eskrima is a 1-credit course that meets twice a week for 55 minutes each day.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:  1 pair of Eskrima sticks, 1 mouth guard, 1 pair of fingerless padded gloves.
