Description:
The objective of this lecture course is to allow the student to take an introspective look at who they are, learn the martial way, and apply what is useful to them in their everyday life. It also sets expectations on how a student should conduct themselves while taking one of the martial arts classes offered within the SFHP program. This course was designed to be used in conjunction with other martial art classes at The Ohio State University. This is a pre-requisite class for Judo, Boxing, Eskrima, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi, Women’s Self Defense, and Men’s Self Defense, taken concurrently with their first martial art class or prior to taking a martial art class. No experience required.
